Microscopy Information

Cambodian spores are easy to view under the microscope and display fascinating morphology.
Optimal storage conditions ensure viability for up to six months when refrigerated.

• Colonisation temperature: 26–27°C
• Observation/cropping temperature: 22–27°C
• Compatible with multiple substrates (compost, grain, pasteurised dung, straw) for taxonomy research

Storage Instructions

• Keep refrigerated at 2–8°C until use
• Viable for up to six months
• Remove from the fridge 12 hours before microscopy to acclimatise to room temperature

The Syringe Itself

• 10ml spore solution, supplied in a sterile syringe
• Needle included, sealed in sterile packaging
• Syringe secured with end cap to prevent leaks during transit
• Gamma-irradiated sterile needles – further sterilisation not required (and may cause contamination)
